The atelier

Two hands, one bench, five days.

Ariek is a bespoke fine jewelry atelier in Istanbul. We are two partners — Arek and Ari — running a single bench where every piece that bears our name is set by hand. Each piece is a private commission, made for you alone — lead time, five days from approval to your hand.

We don’t carry inventory. We don’t outsource. We don’t queue your design behind anyone else’s. When you confirm a piece, it enters the atelier the same day. Pieces are sketched, set under the loupe, and signed off only when the work is worthy. Five days later, your piece is in your hand.

The philosophy

You pay for the stone and the craft. Not the markup.

Most luxury houses charge a heritage premium — three, five, ten times the cost of the materials and labor. We don’t. We tell you what the stone costs, what the metal costs, what the work costs; what is left over is our margin, and it is a modest one.

Every loose stone over half a carat is bought with its own laboratory report — GIA or HRD — and you see it before you confirm. Not a summary of it: the report, with its number, which you can check for free on the laboratory’s own site. The report describes the stone, not the finished piece; we do not send a finished piece for a second grading.

This isn’t a rejection of luxury — it’s a redefinition of it. Real luxury is the diamond cut to exact specification, set by a master, delivered to you signed and certified. Not a name on a velvet box.

We do not publish prices, because gold and stones move daily and a bespoke price answers a specification that does not exist until you describe it. What we do publish is how the number is built — the stone, the gold by weight and karat, the hours at the bench, certification and shipping. Ask for it line by line and it reaches you within 24 hours.

The maker

The setter.

Our setter trained for two decades in fine jewelry before Ariek existed — engagement rings, eternity bands, and anniversary pieces, made for houses that never put the maker’s name on the work.

Ariek is his work, with his name on it. When he signs off on your piece, that is the moment it becomes yours.
